An overview of the position

A hands-on individual who will be the growth driver for Higher Education in India. Product manager will define data driven product strategy, guide product teams to realize vision and sales teams to pitch appropriately and sell. Product manager will own the key customer accounts, sales, ROI and revenue numbers assigned for a given period.

How you will make an impact:
  • Understanding and representing customer needs (gathering customer insights)
  • Independently own and manage Distance Learning Program revenue of $1.5 Mn. Grow the business further by growing current accounts and bringing new accounts.
  • Own sales of Certification titles - CMA, CPA etc.
  • Roll out of job-skills courses in India - train sales and enterprise sales teams and travel with them to pitch to customers.
  • Monitoring the market and developing competitive analysis
  • Market share mapping
  • Define product requirements and vision
  • Align stakeholders around this vision
  • Empowering sales teams.
  • Working with sales on key accounts.
  • Establish appropriate pricing for each product keeping market and competition in mind.
  • Work with the product delivery, marketing, and sales teams for creating best sellers
  • Responsible for gross margin and profitability in HED business.

We are looking for people
  • 5-7 years of experience in Higher Education market
  • Analytical, communicative, Customer orientation, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM Tools-SFDC etc.
  • Calm under stressful situations, quick mover, result oriented
  • Needle mover, Working across teams, Acts as catalyst
