Job Description:

The Department of Resource Economics invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Statistics/Applied Econometrics expected to start on September 1, 2022. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in introductory statistics for business and economics. An ability to teach in both face-to-face and online education formats to students is highly desirable. The successful applicant will become part of a team that teach the Department's introductory statistics courses in a blended online/team-based learning model and will be expected to teach a 3-3 load.

The Department of Resource Economics has 26 faculty, over 400 undergraduate majors and about 25 graduate students (primarily Ph.D.). We place special emphases on faculty-student interaction and cooperation among faculty. We share a fundamental commitment to teach and attract a diverse student body.

Requirements:

Applicants are required to have a Graduate degree (Ph.D. is preferred) in agricultural or resource economics, statistics, economics, or related field as of June 1, 2022 and expertise in applied statistics or econometrics.
