Job Summary
The Clinical Leadership & Management (CLM) program, Department of Health & Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the University of Kentucky is currently accepting applications for a full-time (11-month), faculty lecturer position . We invite you to become part of a supportive community of dynamic and dedicated faculty focused on being national leaders in instruction, research, and service to positively impact others.
Qualified applicants for the position must possess a masters degree in health care management or related area with relevant experience. Qualified applicants in all areas of expertise will be considered for the position, but we are especially interested in applicants with experience and demonstrated competence in teaching undergraduates and expertise in areas related to the primary duties. Qualified applicants must possess a commitment to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Primary duties will include:

The Clinical Leadership & Management (CLM) program is one of three academic undergraduate programs in the department. Our mission is to provide graduates with the expertise to meet the health needs of Kentucky and beyond as future healthcare administrators. The CLM program is Essential Employability Qualities Certified (EEQ CERT) by the Quality Assurance Commons for Postsecondary Education after a rigorous process of external and independent review. - Teaching undergraduate courses in areas such as Quality Management, Health Information Management, Evidence-Based Health Care, Introduction to Healthcare Management, Healthcare Delivery Systems, Leadership Series Courses (Management Competencies, Strategic Planning, HR), and other relevant topics
- Teaching in the classroom and in online formats, including asynchronous and synchronous
- Assisting with interviewing and advising/mentoring students
- Assisting with the development of curriculum within the CLM program
- Coordinating with UK Healthcare employees to determine CLM educational needs and other activities as assigned by the Program Director or Department Chair
- Additional duties include participating in service across the department, college and university levels.
