The Department of Sociology of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applicants for a one-year lectureship who is qualified to teach courses in both face-to-face and online formats including at least the following: Introduction to Sociology; Introduction to Statistics (through regression); Research Methods; Class, Status, Power, and Deviant Behavior.

Essential Job Functions

Teaching Load Four courses in the Fall of 2022 and Five courses in the Spring of 2023

Salary range is $45,000-$50,000. The University of Wisconsin System provides a liberal benefits package, including participation in a state pension plan.


The successful candidate must have at least ABD status in Sociology. Applicants must have demonstrated ability to teach the courses listed above and a background/experience which prepares them to work effectively with diverse student and faculty populations.
