The Velasquez laboratory in the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy focuses on developing adoptive cell immunotherapies for high-risk hematological malignancies.

We are seeking a driven Lead Researcher/Scientist to join an enthusiastic group of researchers in a collaborative environment. Your research will include developing and characterizing novel immune-based therapies with high potential for translation into clinical trials. The projects also include aspects such as antigen discovery and studying mechanistic implications of CAR T cell therapies. Experience in molecular assays and tissue culture techniques are required, prior experience performing flow cytometry and in vivo experiments is desired.

Minimum Education

• Bachelors degree in relevant scientific area is required.

Minimum Experience

Scientist

• Seven (7) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required.

• Five (5) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a Masters degree.

• Three (3) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a PhD.

Lead Researcher

• Five (5) years of relevant, post-degree work experience is required with a Bachelors degree.

• Two (2) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a Masters degree.

• No experience is required with a PhD degree.
