Essential Job Functions: 1. Teaches eight course sections per year in various formats as necessary (on- campus days, on-campus evenings, off-campus, online, etc.
2. Puts on mainstage productions associated with mainstage production course.
3. Participates in curriculum and program development, as assigned.
4. Participates in program promotion.
5. Be accessible to students according to College guidelines; maintain regular office hours for student advising and consultation.
6. Serves and contribute to appropriate Department, College, and University committees.
7. Provides community service and participate in University, College, and Department functions that contribute to campus life such as athletic events, orientation, receptions, commencement, etc. College faculty meetings, and Department faculty meeting participation is mandatory.
8. Continues professional development activities.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and the Dean.

Required Education: Terminal Degree in related field
Major (if required): Performing art. i.e. acting, theatre, musical theatre, or related field.
Required Experience: 1. Leadership in the performing arts.
2. Teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates given strongest consideration will have professional experience, an established national reputation, or the potential for national recognition.
