Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor

The Adjunct Nursing Instructor is a part-time position serving as an adjunct teaching faculty member responsible for instructing students on-campus, in clinical sites, and through other delivery methodologies in accordance with College policy and procedures. The relationship of this adjunct faculty member to the student is one of a leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Clinical instruction for clinical and simulation laboratory
Strong clinical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Current unrestricted license or multi-state licensure privilege to practice as a

registered nurse in North Carolina

Two calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse
The desired candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills , and demostrate strong interpersonal skills with students

PREFERRED:

Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
Teaching experience at the community college level
