Gulfport School District Community Education Instructor

Gulfport School District Community Education department is currently seeking talented professionals to lead a variety of introductory classes and workshops for the community education program.

We offer two sessions every year from August - to December, and from January - to May. The next session will begin in August with several calendar options to choose from.

AREAS OF INTEREST ARE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Arts & Crafts- Painting, Ceramics, Crochet

Health & Wellness-Cooking, Exercise, Yoga, Stress Management, CPR

Culture- Spanish, Sign Language

Recreation & Leisure- Floral, Cake Décor, Gardening, Music

Business- QuickBooks, Resume Writing/Interview Skills

Personal Finance- Budgeting/Investing

Technology- Computer Skills, Microsoft, Google, Web Design

TEACHING OPTIONS:

• Most classes only meet once a week.

Course: 6-week, 4-week, or 1-day workshops

Class: 1-hour minimum or 2-hour maximum time slots depending on your course's needs.

Day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday

Time: Evenings- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Hourly/Class Rate: Negotiable. Depends on the course and experience.
