Description of Duties:

SUNY Polytechnic Institute's College ofArts and SciencesDepartment ofBiology and Chemistryinvites applications for a full-timenon-tenure-trackLecturerofBiology.The successful applicant willbe responsible for teaching a variety of classes, including Introductory Biology, Forensic Biology, Microbiology, Ecology, Epigenetics, and other lectures and labs.

We are eager to hear from candidates withdemonstrated commitments both teaching and research, and a commitment to cultivating diversity inthe university and professional work environment.

We invite applicants with college teaching experience and a breadth of training.

Specific duties include teaching three or four sections per semester, and supporting the Biology program. Otherresponsibilities include contributing to the assessment and continued development ofBiologycourses, and contributing to the University community through committee service and other activities.

Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

M.S. in Biology required (ABD considered) from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized organization.
