Opportunity for a Faculty Non-Tenure Track-9 Mo position in Teaching, Learning & Curriculum Studies.

Examples of Duties:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

The successful candidate will:
  • teach early childhood education classes in the primary program including related coursework at the undergraduate and graduate level;
  • develop/maintain partnerships with local schools including site visits;
  • coordination of field experiences in conjunction with the EHHS Clinical Experiences' office; and
  • actively participate in program, school, college, and university committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of a Masters degree in early childhood education or a closely related field; three years teaching experience in early childhood education classrooms; demonstrated potential for success in college teaching and contributing to academic program development at the undergraduate and graduate levels; demonstrated ability to work in partnerships with schools; and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
