Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in serving diverse student populations.We invite qualified candidates to apply for our *full-time, fixed term (one academic year), Mathematics Faculty position* to begin with the Fall 2022 semester in August 2022. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction. They will be responsible for assessing student performance in coordination with other members of the Mathematics department to evaluate effectiveness of teaching and student learning and will have demonstrated successful outcomes with diverse student populations. Teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester. Responsibilities include teaching transfer-level Mathematics courses, which may include Calculus 1, 2, 3 sequence, along with general education level Contemporary Mathematics, Statistics, and College Algebra, with respective corequisite supplements, depending on departmental needs.*Qualifications*:
A minimum of a Master's degree, M.A. or M.S. in Mathematics is required. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching at the college level, possess excellent communication skills, and work in conjunction with other departmental faculty in assessment, retention, and program review.
*Minimum starting salaries:*Instructor: $54,852; Assistant Professor: $60,424; Associate Professor: $66,427
