A. Position Summary

The successful candidate will develop and provide technical assistance to education policymakers, program administrators, and direct service providers for our government, philanthropic, and nonprofit clients. Candidates with experience supporting services in secondary education, postsecondary education, and workforce development are encouraged to apply.

B. Responsibilities
  • Conduct tasks related to Insight's technical assistance initiatives and work with senior staff to design, develop, and implement technical assistance employing a variety of methodologies.
  • Help develop and manage project workplans.
  • Oversee and conduct project tasks including conducting needs assessments, identifying subject matter experts, developing and conducting webinars and conferences.
  • Author deliverables/reports; communicate directly with clients/external collaborators.
  • Help develop proposals for new projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate work of assistants and analysts.

C. Education
  • Ph.D. or master's degree with 3 years' experience

D. Qualifications
  • Broad knowledge of education policies
  • Excellent written and strong presenter
  • Experience in process improvement methods (LEAN Six Sigma, Model for Improvement, PDSA, etc.), policy and program development, small and large group training and facilitation methods, and/or the development of training materials and technical assistance guides
  • Ability to conduct multiple tasks with competing timelines, communicating effectively and constructively with teams and ensuring tasks/projects are completed on time and meet or exceed client expectations
  • High level of competency in MS Office Suite and data collection and virtual collaboration tools as needed (GoToMeeting, Qualtrics, SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.)
