Barber Instructor

Job Description
Western Barber Institute is currently seeking a Barber instructor. We are looking for professionals who are career-minded and who invest in the success of their students. Must be inspired to coach and motivate students in this growing and evolving industry.

• Explain, demonstrate and instruct the students on the clinic floor and in the classroom using WBI's approved curriculum.
• Prepare students to pass the State Board exam and ensuring compliance with State Board rules.
• Ensure all classroom and clinic floor protocols and standards are maintained.
• Participate in various administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
• Maintain valid California Barber License.
• Minimum of 3-5 years Barber experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
