Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Law within UCD Sutherland School of Law

The UCD Sutherland School of Law is ranked in the top 100 Law Schools in the QS World University rankings. The School's distinctive mission is to support and lead on the transformative potential of law for contemporary societies. The School is home to several research Centres and groups, and three major European Research Council (ERC) projects. It has an increasingly international focus and impact, and is recognised for the quality of its research both within Law and across disciplines. The Sutherland School of Law offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes to a diverse cohort of students.

The School is seeking applications for the post of Lecturer / Assistant Professor. While applicants with expertise in all areas of Law are encouraged to apply, we particularly welcome individuals with the ability to teach in the areas of Property Law, Equity, Commercial Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, and/or Criminal Law.

This appointment includes training and mentorship in the areas of teaching and research.

**Salary: 95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (below the bar) Salary Scale: €35,598 - €62,210 per annum Or 95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €55,951 - €88,601 per annum

The appointment will be made on the appropriate scale in accordance with UCD and Department of Finance guidelines.
