Job Summary: The Registered Nurse will administer medication to perform moderate sedation; participate in diagnostic and treatment procedures in Electrophysiology Lab; document activities of patient care and testing; assist physicians in testing and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias in the Electrophysiology lab; communicate results of testing to cardiologist/electrophysiologist, nursing and case managers; continuing education research and patient teaching. RN will also participate in patient care and unit activities of HVC departments of Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab and ECHO Lab. Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent, NYS RN licensure (or eligible) with a minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience (preferably in an ICU/critical care setting) and certification in CPR/BLS required. Must be able to handle physical aspects of patient care such as moving patients and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
ACLS certification preferred.
Work Days:
8 & 12 hour shifts, Monday - Friday
