Full-time, continuing Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) position available immediately

We are seeking a new member to join the School who is an outstanding and innovative teacher, strong researcher and an active member of the organisational psychology profession.

With strengths in teaching and research in organisational psychology and human factors, as well as cognitive psychology, social, health and clinical psychology, the School of Psychology is seeking a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Organisational Psychology to join the team.

You will teach organisational psychology in our undergraduate programs and our Master of Psychology (Organisational and Human Factors) Program, coordinate courses, supervise Masters students on professional placements, supervise honours, masters and PhD research projects and lead your own research program.

We are seeking a new member to join the School who is an outstanding and innovative teacher, strong researcher and an active member of the organisational psychology profession. The School wishes to strengthen its research performance and capacity, and is especially keen to continue to develop our translational, interdisciplinary and industry related research, to attract funding and improve impact. You will be an Organisational Psychologist (or eligible and willing to obtain endorsement), a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor (or eligible and willing to complete the training) and committed to professional activity within organisational psychology. You will also have proven experience in teaching and research within any area of organisational psychology who is keen to contribute to developing and enhancing our programs further.

Are you someone who can further strengthen, extend and complement the profile of the School, the Faculty and the University?

To be successful at level B, you will need:
  • A PhD or equivalent higher academic qualification in Psychology.
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Endorsement in Organisational Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (or eligible and willing to complete the endorsement process).
  • Approved as a Supervisor by the Psychology Board of Australia (or willing to complete training to become an approved supervisor).
  • Demonstrated experience in innovative teaching methods and curriculum development.

In addition to the above, to be successful at Level C you will also need:
  • Experience in program coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to win bids for competitive external funding (Category 1-4) to support individual and collaborative research activities.
