This is a remote position. In this role, you would be supporting the operation and lab teams with interpreting analytical data from LC-MS (Thermo Orbitrap) instrumentation and writing scientific reports.
Our laboratory in Maryland Heights, Missouri provides organic chemistry testing specializing in investigative analytical chemistry. Our chemists are involved in designing experiments, interpreting analytical data from LC-MS (Thermo Orbitrap) instrumentation and writing scientific reports fit for the audience that includes specific conclusions, exact methodology, and supporting analytical data.

- A winery had a hydraulic leak around its fermentation tanks. We developed a method for testing hydraulic fluid in wine and proceeded to test a number of wine batches to determine which ones were safe for consumers.
- In another project, we examined different the off-gassing from a medical device constructed with polymeric materials. This was accomplished using SPME.
Qualifications
- Must have a degree in Analytical Chemistry/Chemistry.
- Strong experience with LC-MS instrumentation, specifically with Thermo Orbitrap
- Strong experience with interpreting LC-MS data.
- Strong written communication skills and report writing experience.
- Laboratory research experience preferred
