Are you passionate about the potential for health research to transform outcomes for patients?

Do you want to work in a fast paced and innovative environment?

Are you a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills, customer focus and the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders across multiple organisations?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated and innovative team at the NIHR Clinical Research Network's (CRN) National Coordinating Centre. This supports work within the NIHR CRN as part of the Find, Recruit and Follow-up (FRF) programme which aims to harness the potential of health data and digital tools to support effective, efficient trial delivery and wider participation in research across the UK (as outlined in The Future of UK Clinical Research Delivery and its associated implementation plan). Within this programme the NIHR CRN's role is to deliver a 'wrap-around' advisory service to help researchers and companies understand, navigate and use services available to facilitate data-enabled Find, Recruit and Follow-up activities.

You will be responsible for driving development and roll-out of the service in a manageable way across organisations, working alongside internal Local Clinical Research Network (LCRN) colleagues and external stakeholders such as: programme delivery partners NHS Digital and the Health Research Authority (HRA), external Data Service Providers (DSP) and digital development teams.

● You will manage the researcher-facing support provided to external researchers and life sciences companies as part of the FRF service alongside their existing touchpoints within the CRN. This includes development and roll-out of training for other CRN staff as the project develops.

Via this key role, you will facilitate use of data and digital tools in the planning and placement of research across the UK on both the commercial and non-commercial sides of the organisation.
