The role

Bristol Medical School is seeking to appoint an Undergraduate Student Administrator to join the team supporting the delivery of the second year of our medical undergraduate programme.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for supporting approx. 300 medical students as they complete a mixture of classroom, laboratory, clinical skills and healthcare-based teaching. As the first point of call for students and teaching staff, you will possess excellent organisational and administrative skills, a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and the ability to communicate clearly and consistently with students, academic colleagues and stakeholders in partner organisations. In return, you will receive support from a dynamic and enthusiastic team of colleagues, access to a wide range of development opportunities, and the chance to further enhance and develop your skills in one of the largest and most successful Schools at the University of Bristol.

You should apply if

We are looking for someone that will be able to flourish in a busy and challenging but very rewarding role. The medical programme is very complex and non-standard and there is a regular need to think innovatively developing new processes and providing valuable input into a changing environment. You will have a good eye for detail and strive to deliver excellence in every aspect of your work. In return, this role will offer a fantastic development opportunity and is a proven pathway towards progression within the school and wider university community.

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
