This project is part of a €9M Horizon2020 European Commission Project Medical Device Obligations Taskforce - A new platform for innovation in medical technologies This EU-funded project is developing a series of coordinated procedures to support small and medium-sized enterprises to bring testbeds and device innovations to the level of clinical evaluation. At Leeds, we are developing advanced pre-clinical test methods and performing evaluations of a novel hip joint replacement.
You will work with Professor Louise Jennings and her research group in the Institute of Medical & Biological Engineering. The post will involve extensive contacts and collaboration with our European partners.
You will have a strong background in biotribology, biomechanics, bioengineering or a closely related subject. Due to the environment within our Institute, you will have a proactive approach to working in a multidisciplinary team with engineers, biologists and clinicians.
