Overview:
The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Program Director of the Online Health Science Studies Bachelor of Science Degree Completion program. *This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure track faculty position beginning July 2022.* This position is based in the School of Health Sciences. *This is an on-ground position.*
We are seeking applicants who can provide leadership and administrative support to the program. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program. Successful candidates will also be expected to teach broadly across the health science studies curriculum and should have a record of scholarly productivity within their area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include providing support for the on-ground undergraduate Health Science Studies BS program through teaching and academic advising.

Responsibilities:
*Administrative*
* Serve as an advocate for students, faculty and the program
* Review, evaluate and update the program curriculum
* Participate in student recruitment efforts
* Recruit, support and evaluate program instructors
* Work with Department Chairs for planning of course schedules each semester
* Work with the Office of the Registrar & Admissions
* Teaching & Advising*

* Teach online and/or on-ground courses for the Health Science Studies programs
* Advise students interested in the health professions
* Scholarship*

* Participate in scholarly research in their area of expertise and involve students
Education Requirements:

* Terminal degree in a health professions discipline, or a PhD/EdD in a related field
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in program administration
* Evidence of effective teaching including online education
* History of advising/mentoring students interested in the health professions
* Evidence of scholarly research in their area of expertise
* Commitment to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
