An Associate Scientist will be focused on working with the Immunology and System Serology team to analyze the critical samples from in vivo animal studies and human clinical trials and act as an in vivo study monitor.

The Associate Scientist will also work within the team to develop and qualify the assays required to evaluate a diverse pipeline of vaccine projects. We are looking for an innovative scientist with experience running ligand binding and neutralizations assays who can selflessly contribute to multiple projects and help usher a wide variety of vaccine candidates through preclinical development.

This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Experience in running assays to support in vivo animal studies and human clinical study testing.
  • Serve as study monitor for PreClinical in vivo animal studies.
  • Support senior members of the Immunology and System Serology team by running and analysing experiments for assay development projects.
  • Perform data management tasks including data analysis.
  • Writes protocols and procedures to support PreClinical assays. Write specific technical sections of internal and external reports.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelors degree with 2+ years of experience in a related biotechnology field OR Masters degree in life sciences with 0+ years of experience
  • Experience in running ligand binding (Luminex, ELISA, etc) and/or neutralization assays.
  • Experience working aseptically and maintaining cell cultures.


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GraphPad Prism.
  • Experience working in a lab environment in immunology and/or virology.
  • Experience working with liquid handling system ( Tecan, Hamilton, Agilent, etc.).
  • Familiar with handling human biological samples.
