JOB DESCRIPTION - Formulation Chemist (1854)

Location: SW Houston Area
Position Summary:
The Formulation Chemist is responsible for the research and development of new products.

Essential Functions:

• Research and design new products specifically in the cleaning product industry.
• Work with the sales team, manufacturing, and customers to create a products for the customers applications
• Able to manage cost/performance and stay aligned with business objectives
• Create safe and effective new formulas
• Ability to be resourceful and propose solutions to fix problems in development or manufacturing
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with over 10+ years' industry experience
• Masters Degree in Chemistry with 7+ years related experience
• Experience in cleaning products both commercial, residential, and personal care preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure

Mon - Fri
