Job Description:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting efforts in nanoelectronics technology applications development, with a primary focus on electronics for neuromorphic computing. This includes the development of non-volatile memory (NVM) memory devices and materials, integration of NVM devices with complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS), and electrical testing and characterization of the resulting devices and circuits. The employee will be expected to perform as an independent researcher and to pursue scientific publication and dissemination of the results of their research efforts. This position will also entail the writing of research reports and assisting with the writing and submission of grant proposals. Finally, the employee will be expected to work as part of the research group as a collaborative team member.

Job Requirements:
A minimum of a PhD degree in materials science, materials engineering, nanotechnology, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field of study from a college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.

Design and implement operating strategies, plans and procedures to assure smooth functioning of the research group within SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Complete performance management feedback and goals per requirements.
