General Position Information: WCCC is seeking to full a full-time Nursing faculty position. This position is on a day/evening schedule and teaches in both traditional and distance education (including online) settings. Responsible for oversight of curriculum creation and revision; classroom instruction; collaborate with department chair and management on course scheduling; student academic advising and student recruitment; management of program standards and assessment of program outcomes; establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleges and universities and establish and preserve external stakeholder relationships. This position instructs 15 credit hours per semester.
Minimum Qualifications: A Master's degree in Nursing and a Maine RN license are required. The successful applicant must have 3-5 years of recent experience in the practice of patient care. Teaching experience is preferred, including effective presentation skills. Demonstrated professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative work style are essential. The applicant must meet clinical facility immunization requirements.
Salary Range: MEA Faculty Unit/salary commensurate with credentials and experience.
