Principal Scientist - Associate Director, Immunology Inflammation

A discovery stage Biotech working on computation biology tools is looking for a Molecular Biologist/Immunologist to join their team. This company has a strong focus in Oncology and Auto-immune diseases. Someone with a strong background in Inflammatory Diseases is highly preferred. This position will allow you to have a strong lead on the Inflammatory team and help guide colleagues through these therapeutic programs.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be in charge of therapeutic projects and will strategize on target-specific in vitro assays.
• Perform daily benchwork activities while guiding junior colleagues.
• Activities involving primary immune cell-based assays, flow cytometry, proliferation, immunoassays, cytokine release on Luminex, and future technologies are all relevant approaches.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or Cellular Biology
• 6-8 years of industry experience working with cell-based assays.
• Prior experience working within Inflammatory diseases and/or Auto-Immune diseases
• Strong In-vivo mouse model experience and In-vitro cell-based techniques (Flow Cytometry)
