Job Description: Primary instructional responsibilities include teaching and evaluating students in Architectural Modeling and Design Technology courses, preparing lesson plans, and utilization of appropriate classroom technology and teaching methods.

Other duties of this position include advising students, curriculum development, professional development, and participating in assigned departmental, divisional, and college committees and activities.

Required Competencies
  • Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
  • Associate degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience in Architectural Drafting or Modeling
  • Revit modeling experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of all students
  • Willingness to secure North Dakota Career and Technical Education certification


Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree and/or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Commercial and/or residential design experience
  • Experience using Bluebeam
  • Other computer-aided drafting experience
  • Multi-disciplinary modeling experience and/or coordination
  • Commercial and/or residential construction experience
  • Teaching or training experience
