Join our diverse family of faculty and staff and engage in work worth doing. We are looking for Nursing Assistant Training Program Theory Instructors to join our team. This is a REMOTE teaching position that will be the primary instructor for the first 3 weeks of each 6 week cohort. You will work with the clinical instructor and program director. Nevada License is required. Instructor for instruction of students enrolled in the NATP (Nursing Assistant Training Program)

Responsibilities:
Teaches theory content through both a synchronous and asynchronous moduleInstructor will be responsible for daily interaction with students via DQ's, discussion board, assignment feedback through our LMS, email and phone as neededEnsure students are practice ready and meeting all state regulations for certification prior to end of programMake continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teachingContinually seek out educational opportunities for students in the clinical setting that will enhance their learning experienceAssists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirementsRegularly evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving curriculum and course objectivesProvide daily feedback to students in real timeProvide access to students for ongoing communication through scheduling office hour, electronic communication, and other appropriate methodsMaintain student records of attendance, grades, and assist with program data collection, and skills check lists as required by state regulationsParticipate in schedule meetings with theory instructor and program director regarding student progressMake continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teachingDemonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learningKeep current with new technologies and safety regulationsAssists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirementsParticipate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updateSubmit required program reports and forms to Program Director in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned by the Program Director

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure at least 2 years of nursing experienceLicensed in the state that the online campus is locatedExperience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in the classroom settings; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; proficient, strong communications skills verbal and written; current knowledge/experience in clinical setting Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as neededSuccessful completion of State Board training (if required)
