The Department of Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University, Manchester New Hampshire campus, invites nominations and applications for three 12-month faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to support our growing program needs. These are open rank, non-tenure-track faculty roles in the Department of Physical Therapy, New Hampshire.
Job Summary:
We seek candidates who will contribute to our department and profession through innovative interprofessional teaching and scholarship. Responsibilities of faculty include teaching, advising students, scholarship, and service. Successful candidates with research agendas and teaching expertise in musculoskeletal management and pediatrics are needed to join our dynamic team. The selected candidates will enhance the learning opportunities of our well-established Doctor of Physical Therapy program on the Manchester campus.
Experience and Qualifications:
Successful candidates must have:
+ An academic doctorate (Ph.D., EdD, DSc, (ABD considered)), and
+ Must be eligible for physical therapy licensure in New Hampshire.
+ Previous teaching experience is needed in areas of expertise and an established research agenda is preferred.

College of Health & Natural Sciences
Through the College of Health & Natural Sciences, you can earn your academic degrees and certification for healthcare professions that are in high demand. Youll learn from faculty and staff whose first priority is your success. Graduate degrees include Doctoral Programs in Physical Therapy in Manchester, NH and Goodyear AZ, a Master Program in Physician Assistants, and multi-level Nursing degrees.
New Hampshire DPT Program:
This two-and-a-half-year, 10 term program includes 38 weeks of full-time clinical experiences and offers coursework derived from theoretical and scientific-based clinical applications that restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function while preparing graduates to become movement system experts. The system-based curriculum offers multiple collaborative teaching including interprofessional options, faculty-led student research projects, and service-learning/community engagement opportunities. In fact, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students in Goodyear, Arizona have completed the National Physical Therapy Licensure Exam (NPTE) with 100% and Manchester, New Hampshire students with a 98% pass rate for the past five years.
