The Writing Program at Regis College is inviting applications for a full-time, faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor within the First Year Writing Program focusing on social justice and writing beginning in September 2022. This hire is part of the School of Arts and Sciences cluster hire initiative in "Social Justice and Education".

The cluster hire is part of an intended multi-year phased hiring plan within the School of Arts and Sciences; we seek to build a cohort of teaching scholars who are committed to teaching diverse undergraduate students across a range of majors/the undergraduate core curriculum through their respective fields of specialization. The first phase is focusing on our STEM Department, in this second phase of the process, we are focusing on the Writing Program and Humanities (Visual Arts specialization). Faculty will be expected to use high impact teaching practices; diverse, equitable, and inclusive pedagogical practices; and engage with questions of social justice in their work.
