You will be located within Disability Services and reporting through the Assistant Head of Student Support (Disability Services) to the Head of Student Support, you will be responsible for managing the provision of support workers for disabled students. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to the management of key aspects of the University's provision for disabled students. Working closely with a wide range of SES colleagues as well as being part of the Senior Management Team within Disability Services, you will take a lead role in driving developments in the management of support workers and be responsible for delivering and managing a support worker service to disabled students.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and a proven ability to motivate and support colleagues during times of significant demand. You will ensure that the processes and practices within Disability Services are delivered efficiently to consistently high standards and are subject to ongoing review and improvement, drawing in sector good practice through representing the University on external networks. You will encourage teamwork and collaborative working within the Disability Services team and more widely with academic schools and the other support services.
