Faculty Position in Accounting

The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Business Administration (UIC Business) invites applications for full-time non-tenure system faculty positions. With academic departments including Accounting, Finance, Information and Decision Sciences, Managerial Studies Marketing, Stuart Handler Department of Real Estate, UIC Business serves over 4000 diverse students and offers 15 degree programs. Specific instruction is offered in accounting, business statistics/analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, management, management information systems, marketing, real estate, and supply chain management/logistics. This search welcome applications in all of these fields.

Non-tenure system faculty in UIC Business teach courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students in their field of expertise and provide service to their department, college, and/or campus. Additionally, non-tenure system faculty at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, and Clinical Professor make intellectual contributions to their discipline through basic or applied research and/or activities that translate disciplinary scholarship to a professional audience.

Minimum Qualifications

For consideration for all ranks, a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant professional experience or training.

For consideration for the rank of Lecturer, a Master's degree is additionally required.

For consideration for the ran of Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, or Teaching Professor a terminal degree (PhD) in business or field related to the teaching domain is required.

For consideration for the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor a terminal degree (PhD, JD) is additionally required.
