Job Summary
The College of Social Work (CoSW) is seeking applicants for the Assistant Dean of Finance . This position will provide oversight to college-wide financial operations including budget development and planning, managing funding priorities, and financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting. This position will have managerial responsibility for the CoSW business office and staff. The Assistant Dean of Finance will serve on the CoSW executive leadership team and will serve as primary financial liaison for the CoSW. This position will provide fiscal and financial strategic support to the various departments and research units within the College. The Assistant Dean of Finance will contribute to developing and implementing strategic decisions as well as represent the College and the Dean within the executive and financial management teams of the University. In collaboration with CoSW leadership, this position will also be responsible for developing long-term financial plans for the college that are in alignment with the CoSW and University strategic plans. The Assistant Dean of Finance maintains responsibility for conceptualizing and conducting analyses associated with new program development and works to ensure the financial integrity and fiscal solvency of the College through leadership, financial management, and strategic decision-making.
