YOUR ROLE
Application Engineer for Henkel Automotive Components (AAC) Sub-unit of Adhesive Technologies
Main customers are global/local autosuppliers in Turkey
Driving top projects including new product initiatives, engaging and involving in all Sales and Marketing initiatives and programs
Delivering specialized both theoretical and hands-on training for customers/distributors/sales team.
Responding promptly to customer calls and queries about the products and applications
Assuming responsibility for training and upskilling of local internal team i.e Technical Sales Engineers and organizing Country Technology webinars with local marketing
Ensuring to be up to date with the newest trends in application technology for the markets served by Henkel Surface Treatment Technologies.
Being the first customer for new products developed by the R&D department by testing the appropriate application methods for these new materials
Preparing detailed test reports for new initiatives, existing products and getting local/regional product certifications
Representing Henkel AAC team at conferences, trade shows and meetings
YOUR SKILLS
Having Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering could be an option also.
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within an international organization
Knowledge in OEMs - Autosupplier surface treatment application is a plus
Preferably hands-on experience in a technical service or manufacturing role in automotive market
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
Competent in problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Having valid driving license and being flexible for traveling within the country
