We are looking for an experienced administration assistant to work together and support authors and referees as well as our in-house editors throughout the publication process. This is initially a temporary, 12-month position.

How you will make an impact:
  • Be an active member of a global editorial team, collaborate with other editorial colleagues to support journal publication
  • Provide administrative support for in-house editors throughout the whole publication process from manuscript submission until final publication
  • Communicate with international editors, authors and reviewers to support and guide them through the publication process
  • Track submissions through the editorial process
  • Prepare manuscripts for typesetting and checking their completeness and correctness according to specified, formal and technical guidelines
  • Ideally being familiar with Editorial Manager and/or ScholarOne Manuscripts

We are looking for people who have:
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written/verbal)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and related software, and a willingness to learn new software programs
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Talent to work independently as well a as part of a team
  • Previous experience working in publishing would be an advantage.
