Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform research on an externally supported grants directed at optimizing culture conditions for mammalian cells. This project may be collaborative with industrial partners.

Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in engineering, chemistry, the life sciences, or a related field from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internally recognized accrediting organization. Candidates must have significant experience performing mammalian cell culture. Strong oral and writing communication are essential.

Applicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with a culturally diverse population. This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with bioreactors and metabolite analysis is desirable.
