Who We Are:

Our experienced scientists and engineers assist in drug & biologic discovery, pharmaceutical development, & assessment of bioengineered materials and biomedical devices. Our services include computational drug design, synthesis, formulation, process, and analytical development, & project management.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Assist with bench and pilot-scale Pharmaceutical synthesis, formulation, and scale-up.
  • Assist with bioengineering process development and scale-up.
  • Assist with chemical and biological waste management, glassware cleaning, and workplace clean-up.
  • Assist with computational modeling projects.


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Work in lab hands-on, under supervision, doing organic chemistry synthesis.
  • Work as part of a team for chemical process scale-up and production.
  • Work in lab hands-on, under supervision, doing bioreactor testing and production.
  • Clean laboratory spaces as needed. Clean laboratory glassware as needed.
  • Assist with the management of laboratory waste.


Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree with a 3.00 GPA in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and/or Computational Chemistry
  • 1 year of undergraduate experience with at least 2 semesters of chemistry and engineering classes
  • Computer programming is also beneficial
  • MS/Excel/Powerpoint to assist with scale-up design and calculations within spreadsheets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to assist with pre job hazard analysis, reaction heat mitigation, energy and mass balances, and modeling
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required
