YOUR ROLE

• Initiate and roll out improvements in the Adhesives capital project management framework and governance
• Ensure standardization of capital project development and execution across the various regions Embed project management excellence in the organization. Provide expert support and industry best practices on project management aspects such as engineering and construction management, cost estimation, scheduling, project controls, scope change management and risk management
• Embed a structured/ stage-gated project process and establish gate/peer reviews to assure adherence to the process
• Develop tools as needed for improved project delivery and transparency
• Actively facilitates knowledge sharing within the project community
• Refine project work processes, standards and best practices based on lessons learned
• Build project capability in the organization - provide coaching and development curriculum for project managers
• Facilitate a portfolio overview of projects.

YOUR SKILLS

• 15+ years extensive experience in several phases of Capital Project Development and execution in a manufacturing environment - both brownfield and greenfield projects.
• PMI certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
• Capital Excellence experience. Experience in capital project standards and work processes
• Change management experience
• Background in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations
• Proven successful international experience with interdisciplinary teams
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS projects/ Primavera
• Ability/ seniority to influence regional and global management and experienced project community members.
