Develop and Deliver Holistic Student Engagement.

The Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) has an exciting opportunity for an engagement specialist to help build and deliver a new form of higher education student support. Working in a highly collaborative environment the role will work to support students and academics from targeted programs to support their ongoing engagement and development, both inside and outside the classroom.

This is a unique opportunity to work for and with students and academics, in collaboration with relevant support services, to deliver engagement and support that is targeted to individual and cohort specific needs. The ultimate outcome will be resources and interventions that instil students with the confidence and capability to succeed within university student and beyond.

To be successful you will need:
  • Proven record of actively contributing to the development of, and working effectively in, high-performance teams defined by positivity, adaptability, energy, and the delivery of results.
  • Proven high-level of experience in the development and delivery of student engagement activities in a tertiary education environment, particularly those focused towards student retention, experience and success.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner and to work collaboratively to deliver student centric results.
  • Demonstrated high-level administrative experience, and using high level organisational and time management abilities, problem solving and initiative to deliver high quality outputs and manage competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, implementing plans to achieve defined outcomes, and the ability to investigate, analyse and implement procedures.
