Come and join our Registered Nurses in the Harborview Emergency Department (ED).
We are looking for both seasoned ED RNs and those interested in transitioning into a new specialty.
This recruitment offers a $10,000 Recruitment Incentive to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine#UWMRecruitmentIncentive
Some of what our nurses do;
They work in a fast-paced environment to:
Immediately triage
Assess
Stabilize critical patients
Are part of a collaborative bedside care with a large, multidisciplinary team
They are committed to taking care a diverse population with different degrees of conditions
Development of critical care & critical thinking skill sets
Our nurses practice to the top of their license and are dedicated to evidence-based practice
Available shifts:
90% FTE, Rotating/Variable Shifts, nights.
Per-diem (4-shfits/month with one weekend shift)
REQUIREMENTS:
Have/obtain a Washington state Register Nurses license to practice
AND
Two of more years of experience as an ED nurse
AND
BLS
AND
ACLS
AND
NIHSS certification
Nice to have
ENPC OR PALS
TNCC OR ATLS
Transition to specialty requirements
Have/obtain a Washington state Register Nurses license to practice
AND
2 years inpatient acute or critical care RN experience
AND
BLS
