A postdoctoral research position is available in the Dr. May Khanna Laboratory in the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at the New York University College of Dentistry. The May Khanna lab studies structure function of alternatively spliced proteins in neuropathic pain and rare diseases and targeting protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions for neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and collaborative team of scientists. We are committed to foster a culture of teamwork and the highest level of scientific rigor and integrity.

We seek a highly motivated and creative individual interested in combining biochemical and biophysical techniques to target key protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions in neurodegenerative disease. Ph.D. in biological or biomedical sciences, biophysics or a related discipline as well as excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
