An exciting opportunity to join the Advanced Technologies (AT) team currently involved in the development and investigation of cutting-edge therapies for heart disease. On this innovative team you will provide clinical and technical consultation to implant teams, clinical site support and work collaboratively with AT team members to support clinical trials and device development efforts.

This is a field-based position that requires up to 80% travel.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

* Support site initiation (SIV) activities with other responsible AT team members

* Conduct and facilitate clinical trial pre-case planning activities and procedural de-briefs with clinicians and study teams

* Device preparation, providing device procedural and technical support in Hybrid OR setting

* Create and present customized technical content

* Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and employees on technical matters relating to EW products through conducting product in-service demonstrations and clinical trial protocol training

* Work collaboratively with AT teammates on the coordination of case scheduling and identifying case preparation needs and responsible parties for case support

* Provide consultation to physicians and support staff during trial procedures with an emphasis on patient safety, protocol adherence and procedural technical success

* Develop physician and staff training materials and update based on learnings from clinical experiences

* Provide clinical expertise to AT cross functional teammates to assist in next generation device development

* Participate in wet lab and animal lab studies to aid in product development, procedural development and investigations

* Provide clinical expertise on all aspects of product lines and/or clinical affairs site that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business while partnering with leadership

* Lead in process improvement projects by driving program effectiveness and ensuring overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective

* Provide procedural case reviews and de-debrief with internal project stakeholders.

* Work with study team members to provide site support to include: Assistance with case scheduling, scheduling of monitoring visits, reconciliation of data queries, reconciliation of image uploading and other trial specific needs best addressed at the field level.

* Ability to work within and adapt to a dynamic and fluid work environment.

* Support Clinical Affairs leadership through determining course(s) of action and assist with delegation of field responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

* A minimum of 8 years previous in-hospital and/or industry clinical echocardiographic experience

* Previous experience leading and coordinating actions of clinical field teams

* Experience in providing consultative support for interventional cardiology and/or cardiothoracic surgery procedures

* Ability to travel to up to 80% (domestic & internationally)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Extensive history of consultative support of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular and/or surgical therapy products

* Experience in interacting with physician support staff including: Nurses, CV technologists, sonographers and research study coordinators

* Extensive knowledge of imaging modalities (angiography, CT, echo, IVUS, OCT, ICE)

* Experience in supporting medical device clinical trial efforts and/or LMR launch activities requiring data acquisition

* Demonstrated experience in start-up or early commercial phase environment requiring improvisational thinking and case strategy implementation

* Experience in early-stage organizations where communication with leadership, R&D, and project management teams

* Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) protocols

* Ability to understand the dynamics involved in working with KOL physicians and their ability to support their needs while driving toward organizational and operational objectives

* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

* Strict attention to detail

* Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Must be able to work in a team environment, including serving as consultant to management

* Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

* Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

The base pay range for this position is $173,000 to $202,000
