About This Role:

Kansas State University at Salina is seeking applications for a full-time Professional Pilot faculty member. The successful candidate shall teach undergraduate students covering subject matter in professional pilot curriculum (existing and future courses). This is a nine-month teaching position which includes a full benefit package.

Non-Tenure Track: Teaching Assistant Professor, Instructor, or Professor of Practice

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree
FAA flight instructor, airplane certificate
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desire to work with interdisciplinary teams
A demonstrated ability to teach in a classroom setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Aviation related PhD or equivalent
FAA Part 121 flight crew experience
Willingness to teach crew resource management

Other Requirements:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Applicants must meet accreditation credential requirements to teach college courses
