3 year convertible academic position available from January 2023.

An exciting academic opportunity exists for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with experience in allied health learning and teaching to join the School of Allied Health Science and Practice.

The successful candidate will be a passionate educator with demonstrated experience developing and delivering innovative approaches to undergraduate teaching and assessment. Further, they will be responsible for coordinating and teaching into first and second year undergraduate common courses, including Biosciences for Human Health A and B, within the Allied Health suite of programs and ensuring the overall quality of the student experience.

To be successful you will need:
  • Completion of an Honour's degree, higher qualifications or equivalent experience in an Allied Health or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in the teaching and coordination of university courses; and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience in course development and the use of a variety of teaching methods and methodologies.
  • A PhD in a relevant discipline, or have equivalent qualifications and/or experience in an Allied Health Discipline or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-quality student-centred learning and teaching at university level that includes the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to teaching and learning; and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
