We are seeking a Territory Manager for Bioproduction/Cell and Gene Therapy (ROW). This individual will manage and achieve sales target for Bioproduction and Cell & Gene Therapy for the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new accounts and manage existing customers' in terms of providing quotes, process POs and ensure pre and post shipment issues are handled on time
  • Acting to remove internal roadblocks to sales performance
  • Monthly reporting/reconciliation of performance data
  • Develop business, customer relationships, new ideas and projects to strengthen strategic partnerships with accounts in the territory.
  • Directing field contact with customers to develop, maintain, and expand existing business in the territory.
  • Forecasting business accurately to the company as required.
  • Giving feedback to inside personnel on changes in the marketplace and competitive information.
  • Developing promotional ideas and activities in a given territory to assure profitable growth.
  • Generating ideas for new products based on customer input and suggestions.
  • Completing all reports and any additional paperwork required in a timely fashion.
  • Working within travel and expense guidelines.
  • Identify potential distributors in the countries where potential is high and work with them as needed
  • Attending tradeshows and participating in marketing efforts.

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. S. in a Life Science) from four-year college or university; plus 2 to 5 years related experience in Sales, Marketing or related 'commercial/business' function in the life science industry, preferably associated with the industrial bioprocessing market.
  • Two to Five years related Sales management experience and/or training specific to the Life Science Industry
  • Ability to work well with parent office.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to high level of sales and marketing techniques in a technical environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Requires basic ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Experience with proven ability to successfully negotiate contracts especially with distributors.
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize business critical activities
  • Ability to establish goals and plan required to meet sales objectives
  • Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation ability
  • Knowledge of general business administration practices
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
