We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, experienced massage therapy instructor to join our education family. Seeking an evening, part-time person who loves to teach and enjoys the educational journey. Our new member should be a great team player who can function independently with a great sense of humor. Must be comfortable with Hydrotherapy, Business & Ethics, Swedish Massage, and Therapeutic Massage concepts.
Responsibilities
The individual would teach an established curriculum, utilizing a combination of lectures, PowerPoint, videos, and demonstrations. The instructor would be responsible for adhering to TDLR and school regulations, including maintaining attendance and makeup hours. Evening classes end after regular business hours, individuals will need to be comfortable shutting the classroom down, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and locking business for the night.
Qualifications
Must have a current LMT & MTI. Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills, comfortable with Microsoft Suite, responsible, accountable, trustworthy, and self-motivator. Our night instructor will function mostly independently but will be well supported by the Educational Department. Please be prepared to provide proof of all modalities you are qualified to practice.
