Position Summary

The T cell Therapeutics Laboratories is comprised of five individual laboratories focused on developing novel CAR T cell Immunotherapies. The molecular team has historically designed and produced most of the chimeric antigen receptors used in the studies across all laboratories. This position on the Molecular team is immediately available for an independent, organized, self-motivated individual with extensive molecular biology experience that would work with all 5 PIs to design and develop novel receptors and to manage the molecular workstations.

Key Responsibilities include:

Primary responsibilities for the T Cell Therapeutics research laboratories (TCTRL) program/department would include:

* Performing molecular techniques, including but not limited to molecular design, generation of molecular constructs, plasmid and genomic DNA purification, PCR, quantitative PCR, transient and stable transfection, passage and maintenance of tissue culture cell lines.
* Participation in the development and standardization of molecular assays for quality control (QC) and correlative assays investigating patient products and samples.
* Management and organization of the molecular workstations, database, and software related to construct design; training of new staff for all projects for labs within the TCTRL program/department.
* Actively participate in routine lab support and maintenance activities.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree required.
* Five or more years related research/ laboratory experience with a Bachelor's degree or Four or more years related research/ laboratory experience with a Master's degree
* Experience specifically in molecular cloning techniques and construct design.
