Position Summary:

Gettysburg College invites applications for a Tenure-Track Professor position in the Department of Management to begin August 2023. Field of specialization must complement the Business, Organizations, and Management major and its Critical Managerial Studies focus (see https://www.gettysburg.edu/academic-programs/management/programs/business-organizations-management-major), with strongest consideration given to candidates in the fields of marketing and ethics. We also are particularly interested in candidates who can integrate issues of diversity into upper-level courses. Teaching responsibilities for the position will include existing courses within the Business, Organizations, and Management major with the potential to develop additional courses such as upper-class electives or senior capstones according to the candidate's areas of expertise. The teaching load is 2-3 per academic year.

Qualifications:

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in a field related to Business/Management and demonstrate potential for high quality teaching, scholarship, and advising. Candidates must be committed to interdisciplinary teaching in the liberal arts tradition and demonstrate through their teaching and scholarship that they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our community.
