Job Description:

Full-time, 9-month, tenure-track eligible Assistant Professor position with an expertise in cross-cultural psychology beginning August 2023. Responsibilities for the position include teaching courses required for the Bachelor's in Psychology degree program, particularly Cross Cultural Psychology. Other duties include conducting scholarly research and publishing, engaging in appropriate university and professional service, supervising theses and dissertations for students in our graduate programs, and advising undergraduates. Applicants with training in all areas will be considered, but they should demonstrate an expertise in cross-cultural psychology.

The Department of Psychology is housed in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, which also has programs in teacher education (including special education), counseling, educational leadership and administration, military sciences, and more.

Requirements:

Earned doctorate in Psychology with an expertise in cross-cultural psychology.
Must demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and maintain an active program of scholarly research.
