CDL Instructor

Job Description
Star Truck Driving School CDL Instructors teach and assist students in classroom, road and yard activities to obtain their CDL license. Part Time and Full Time Positions available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Monitor student's operation skills on the road and identify areas for improvement
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
• Provide appropriate feedback on work
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies and school regulations
• Maintain daily attendance sheet and student driving logs
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students and colleagues regarding student progress and student needs

Requirements

• Valid Illinois Class A CDL
• Must have held Class A CDL for atleast 3 years
• High School Diploma or GED
• Satisfactory Driving Record
• No Experience Needed
• Background Check with Secretary of State
